Brick ties are required in brickwork and masonry to provide structural stability and resist wind loads.

Brickwork walls are constructed of an outer shell which is thin and must be restrained against buckling. The wind loads must also be transferred onto the load-bearing walls. Depending on the material used to construct the inner load-bearing wall, suitable restraining brick ties are used in restraining the outer shell brickwork walls onto inner load-bearing walls and suitable restraining ties are used in restraining the outer shell brickwork walls on the inner load-bearing walls.

HRST restraining brick ties can be securely and reliably used to restrain brick walls against horizontal loads. 

Brick wall ties are made of round steel and have wavy forms for embedding into mortar joints.

There are two versions that are used for brickwork load-bearing walls and concrete load-bearing walls.
